Inverters and Power Supplies

Power supplies are an essential component for all electronic equipment because without them (unless your devices have the ability to operate on battery) they cannot be used. Moreover, it is very important to use power supplies and transformers recommended by the manufacturer or, alternatively, perfectly compatible ones.

Using transformers that are not perfectly compatible or from the same company as the device you want to power can lead to malfunctions and damage. Therefore, pay close attention to the Amperes and Volts output of the power supply and to those input on the device.

Sometimes power supplies are not included in the boxes of devices that can also operate on batteries, as is the case with effect pedals, so it is necessary to purchase them separately. Moreover, after years of use, it happens that these stop working or the connections and contacts of the cables get damaged, and therefore you are forced to buy another one. To prolong their life, handle them with care and be careful to gently wrap cables and connectors.
