Active Speaker Phono-Network Cables

What is the purpose of the Speakon cable? This cable is widely used by audio services and for larger audio configurations. It features connectors that are more resistant to tearing and "mistreatment" and a more solid system of closure and fixing between cables and speakers. Moreover, its design allows for wiring and configurations between speakers that are otherwise impossible. If you wish, also check out the section exclusively dedicated to Speakon cables.

If you have active or amplified speakers, you will need to connect them to the mixer to ensure that your system is set up and ready to play. The cables used for this connection are essentially of two types: Cannon or XLR and Speakon. The Cannon cables are balanced cables that reduce electrical interferences picked up along their path, delivering the cleanest signal possible. Among their features is also the fixing of the connectors which increases safety by avoiding the risk of accidental disconnections.
