Melodicas
The melodica is played like a wind instrument, meaning air is blown directly inside or through a flexible tube, and when a key is pressed, the air produces a sound. It's possible to play multiple keys simultaneously, so it can also play chords, making it a bit of an introductory instrument to understand harmonic principles in general and of instruments like organs and pianos.
Do you want to start trying out a musical instrument? Do you want to learn to play the harmonica (or melodica)? The harmonica is a valuable educational instrument (and more) and, if we want, much more stimulating than a recorder. Without taking anything away from the recorder, the harmonica has a keyboard that is almost identical to that of a piano, albeit with many fewer octaves and much smaller keys, but, like the piano, it allows for an immediate visualization of the relationships between notes.
The harmonica, or if we want to call it by its synonym melodica, is increasingly used by musicians of all kinds, but let's also remember experiments conducted by famous modern composers like Steve Reich (Melodica).
